Kimono inspired by rain

In the Japanese language, there are many words to describe rain.  
 

Real water droplets were used on laser cut acrylic to create unique kimono patterns.  I helped the team with their prototyping process using a digital laser cutter to cut the pattern onto the acrylic sheets.
